When seeing this post and all the comments that continue the joke, the first thing i read is the musical instrument. I look at the text, see the replaced word and then go to the first word to actually read it

When reading the post, i also spent a bit rereading the first part, triangle to understand what it means until realizing its just a typo

      Ditto

First read was a normal read. Second read, I thought the joke was that there wasn’t an instrument. I had to come to the comments before I saw it lmao

      english is my first language…

that’s likely the reason. the more you’re used to a language the less you notice mistakes

I feel like it would work better if it wasn’t the first or last word. Just fiddle around with different words, and viola!

AuADHD reporting in. I got caught re-reading the first part for a while trying to figure out what neat thing about free-reed instruments was going on, before eventually reading to the end and realizing that its presence was the joke.

I noticed it immediately, but then I took it for an honest typo until I had read it all.

    Gone was the fun.

As one cursed with an illiterate fuckwit for a brain-hole, any word can be either a random musical instrument or summon a demon, like fun little Schrodinger surprises. Just kinda gotta roll with it after a while

This only works because accordion is close according, not because they sound alike which is what everyone is attempting in these comments.

This is similar to the phenomena that allows jumbled words to be read, it’s about context clues not puns.
