      This would be a really interesting concept, but I doubt the league would ever go for something that hurts revenue.

    I’m hoping they don’t expand to 18 games. People are going to get burned out watching especially when games are on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday at points of the season. On top of that now it’s so fucking hard to make sure you have the right cable or streaming services to catch some of the games.

      I already get to that point, which is disappointing. Some of the better games are at the end of the season or the beginning of playoffs but by week 13-14 I’m skipping games or multi-tasking while it’s on in the background. As much as I like being able to watch on more days of the week, it’s made it a lot less exciting and increased burnout.

    I’m more ok with an 18 game season as a fan than a team or entire division in Europe. It needs to stop at 18 though, it’s already a 6 month long period from preseason to Superbowl. 2 more weeks (assuming a second bye week) is adding a lot.
