Only if I bring my life size bathclown with me with the chefs knife attachment and realistic glowing eyes.

Haven’t gotten to do it in ages since my current bathroom has no windows but showering in the late afternoon or just at sunset with just the smallest bit of sunlight peeking through the (closed!) blinds is relaxing, especially in the summer.

Being clean and having wet hair while the summer day’s heat starts to settle and your day winds down is magic.

Showering in the dead of night? Yes, that’s relaxing. Showering in the dead of night with all the bathroom lights off? Few things would unsettle me more.

Everyday day after work. I have a “nightlight” that I turn on. Other that that all my showers are in darkness. I think it’s a way for me to decompress after being bombarded by artificial light for 10+ throughout my work day. Took my until I was 35 to realize how sensitive i was to light, especially artificial

What do you mean “anyone else”? I was in the shower with you. I feel so ignored!

Only when it’s voluntary. I once had the power go out while I was in the shower. My thirty-something ass instantly aged into an octogenarian convinced he was breaking a hip on the way to open the bathroom door.

Not complete darkness. I got a nice warm led night light (these ones, love em) just bright enough that I can see what I’m doing. But yeah going spa mode after a long cold day is very nice

I knew a chick who would also put on blind fold sleep mask and earplugs… they seemed to like it but I’ve never tried

Opposite. I built a second temporary shower under the window (lined the wall with clear plastic for visiting rellies that can’t step into the tub) - it’s nice to shower in the sunshine.

    Oh yeah.

My bathroom light is motion activated. The sensor doesn’t see into the shower, so if I don’t wave at it every few minutes the light goes out.

A lot of the time I don’t bother. Super relaxing.

It’s good for forehead tension headaches also. I like to sit and stare straight into the stream of water in the dark, tends to help overload nerve input to ignore pain bit better.

I would love to try but intrusive thought won’t let…
