Yesyes! I think we’re steadily getting a nice team together. After having a nice chitchat with ohmyiv - another member who has been blessing us daily with music I appointed him as a mod to both the Drum’n’Bass and Jungle community.
Next up: it might be fun to start expanding to other ways of communication. Maybe something like a discord or matrix server to get everyone together where we can also go off-topic and just hang out. I do run a pretty big discord server but it’s more related to a dnb label I’m involved in mixed in with gamers. I could set up a channel there or start something fresh. I actually think it’s better to start something new because I want it to remain ‘neutral’, but what do you guys think?

Thanks Ruudboy! Thank you for providing us with a great server we can call home! For those who don’t know, Ruud is the admin for the lemmy.world instance, longtime drum’n’bass lover and all-round nice guy :)
Any plans on opening up the discord admin server for the public or setting up a lemmy.world matrix server? I could ofcourse spin up a vps but if we can keep all of these things together it would benefit everyone I think. I’m not too familiar with Matrix tbh and I think discord is more accessible. But I’m up for whatever.
