The world needs to move on from the U.S. and the EU is the new leader of the free world. It’s up to them now. The U.S. has fallen into dictatorship.
“Free world” was just the American motto, it doesn’t actually mean anything. Leadership will be one of US, Russia or China. Russia seems unlikely and US displays of power don’t seem to be working - my bet is on China.
For leader of the “free world” you bet on China?
There is no free world. Never was. There are influence spheres.
They will just have another catch phrase.
This should go both ways.
