Uhm, drooling and different pupil sizes is quite scary.

I’m not a vet but if I saw that on a human I’d probably check for signs of a stroke.

It’s just as bad a symptom in cats. It usually signifies a brain injury. If it doesn’t clear up within a few minutes you should definitely contact a vet

We’ve had him over year and he’s been like this the whole time. He was a stray for years though, so not sure what he may have gone through.

It might’ve been caused by some kind of head trauma. Does he have something that might indicate a previous injury?

I have no idea how to check but does he see well from his left eye?

If there aren’t other symptoms and it doesn’t evolve he might be ok. (might could be should but I’m not confident enough)

I have some old rescue cats and yeah they have some scars ^^`

He has no scars or anything we can see. And he does appear to see out of the eye, otherwise he would have trouble judging distance and such. But he is perfectly graceful jumping up on things and playing. At this point, we will just go with it as he is a very happy cat and companion.

The different pupil sizes is usually indicative of brain injury, if you haven’t already maybe get that checked out. It can be just an eye abnormality (rare) but it’s usually not a great sign…

This is my cat, he was crossposted. Vet says his eye is fine, and he’s a fully-functional sweet boy.

My roomie’s cat drools on me when she’s cozy and getting pets.

A lot of cats that purr like it’s their national anthem drool while they do so. More so with older cats.
