An easy why to end conversations is just to ask someone what the time is. Then repeat whatever they say really loud or shocked. Then you can just run out of the room and people will assume you were late for something.

What about saying bye?

This makes me want to have any potentially stressful conversations only on the side of a large hill.

“Hey, Look over there!” *runs away

Look behind you, a three-headed monkey!

Not knowing how to end a conversation is one of the many reasons I hate meetings. Especially if I’m running the meeting. “Well, I’ve got nothing more productive to add…bye?”

“Look, I can have a conversation about almost anything, so if you need to leave, please interrupt me and let me know. I won’t take it that personal.”

“So…”
