A meeting at the White House between Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump descended into a bitter argument in front of the press in extraordinary scenes as Trump demanded that Zelenskyy show more gratitude to his administration, while accusing him of ‘disrespecting the US’.
Trump also told him that he needs to make a deal with Putin or ‘we are out’, threatening to cut US support for Kyiv.

As insane as this is, Trump and Vance have not forgotten that Zalensky aligned himself with Kamala Harris before the election. So, they are wanting to see some ‘Humble Pie’ eaten. Its difficult for Zalensky to nagivate this hard feeling, and addressing it directly might be counter productive. It will probably work out in the end.
