Senator Mike Lee and Elon Musk have called for the United States to consider dumping the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, also called the North Atlantic Alliance, NATO.
The House lawmaker had previously called the alliance which includes the United States and 31 other nations a “Cold War relic.”
According to the senator, the NATO alliance has to come to a halt, describing it as a “great deal for Europe,” but a “raw deal for America.”
And there it is. If that really happens international stability will go down the drain. Does Trump want to return to isolationism like in pre-WW1? This doesn’t seem profitable.
The EU member states are safe. The membership contracts include a defense alliance. But there some other NATO states that are outside the EU. They’ll need to work out a European successor of NATO probably with the EU at its helm.
They are dismantling the US to make sure nobody needs to vote anymore. They dont need the us to keep current status quo. Its not relevant for their goal
