Every time I see the phrase “raises alarms” nowadays, I just picture someone tossing a claxon onto the top of an enormous pile of claxons.
Are alarms ever not being raised in this day and age? Seems like business as usual.
What are you attempting to convey here? That we shouldn’t be alarmed, or that this isn’t alarming?
That you cannot hear the alarms over the constant state of panic and included screaming.
