    I like to think of these people as young aspiring magicians searching for the right magic words to alter the world around them. Yet forever failing.

    Without seeing the documents they sent it is not possible to know what they did wrong. I can only guess improper capitalization, wrong shade of red, improper comma usage, incorrect font size and/or type etc. The possibilities are endless. Clearly we need to see what they sent in.

    Or they could just make their mortgage payment.

      I assume they had a stroke or began severely abusing drugs after securing the loan. Or, more likely, it was a super predatory loan from a shady bank given to someone who was pretty clearly mentally unfit to commit to taking on that amount of debt.
