He’s a super lad but you wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of him. This is one of my all time favourite bits of radio where he absolutely eviscerates someone against Obamacare at the time.

It’s from 2010 and 4 minutes long. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough that everyone who reads this gives it a listen.

Some light swearing at the end.

The end part about Americans traveling the world being respected again in 2010 is really depressing in 2025.

Yeah that part did stick with me too. For what it’s worth I’d say most Irish adults have been to the US at some point and had a great time so it’s all quite a bit of confusion and horror.

We know right well that there are lots of really good folks there too though and Michael does a great job of portraying that in the clip.

He’s a good lad. We’re all very fond of him.

His Xmas and St Patrick’s day speeches have been on point, he has a background in literature (poetry)

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10Jrua_OrTc

EDIT : I hadn’t listened to his one for this year, but it’s great as always. I recommend anyone to give it a listen, it’s not just about Ireland and St Patrick, and not expicitly Christian (but implicity), but the whole world and the challenges we face and how we must face them.

Good guy physiognomy sounds fake until you see those three in the same room.
