I hate when ppl give sum stupid ass advice w/o knowing Your situation…

“Just get a different job… Just get a job closer to You …”

Most of us are huminerals and it’s not simple as those people say it is.

The middle class is a joke 😭 😔 to the corporate overlords n the gov does nothing to fix this…

Empathy. A lot of people who give such advice don’t have it. And while I don’t know your situation, I, too, can relate to working hard my whole life and still having nothing. I sincerely hope you can find peace amongst the madness.

      Also, eat the rich _

Why would the government do anything? The government benefits from your wage slavery.

This is why we have unions and revolutionary groups.

Ye… Idk, in US they was quite successful at disassembling (many*) Unions… And they do their best to keep folks from unionizing.

        Does Sweden have unions btw?

Being middle class is actually being gangbanged by both corpos and the state. One sees you as a simple pawn that can be exploited and the other considers you to be a rich guy that must be heavily taxed

I goto work knowing there should be some class solidarity. Unless there is a EO in your title you’re with us, sorry. The wealth gap between the rich and the extreme rich is enormous.

Unfortunately, the haves don’t see it that way and lord over everyone with their “fancy teslas” or what ever the dum shit they think is a status symbol.

That enormous gap is inequality driven by corporate greed…
It’s what I like to call legal corruption ( at least in US where a fortune 100 company can get away with paying virtually no tax )

I find it difficult to believe that most people don’t have a spare 30/45/60 mins in their day where a hobby can be pursued.

People will spend that time scrolling social media, or watching TV, but then complain that they don’t have enough time for their own hobbies or well-being.

The 5 day, 40 hour working week, is definitely outdated and I would argue for change, but people don’t help themselves on this particular topic. Get a life, get some hobbies.

When you get older, you start to understand physically having time for something and mentally having time for something. Most people DO in fact manage to find half an hour to an hour for themselves a day, but need to spend that time trying to unwind or de-stress from an already busy life. Pursuing a hobby during those precious few moments will just add to the already busy day and make things more stressful.

Sometimes you just want to sit down in front of your TV or PC for an hour and not talk to anyone or have any obligations before getting back to the grind, and that’s the only thing keeping you sane.

Because you’ve never faced the problem they are explaining. Describing hardships in life to someone who has never experienced them can seem like excuses to the naive.

Oh sure getting 30 minutes a day to yourself is amazing. How generous of our corporate overlords to give us 30 minutes!

Did you read the part where I said the 40 hour working week is outdated?

Who knew Lemmy could be so toxic.

Grow up brother. Or maybe just get a life and get some hobbies.

Move to a place closer to your work, or look for a new job closer to home.
