YouTube was happily ignoring concerns until the Guardian asked. Unless we have collective voices and actions, it will get worse.
This is every large platform’s MO. Imagine actually supporting early warning systems, stock owners wouldn’t like it.
Rather than responding to the request for comment, on social media the next day:
“I’ve come to believe fascists are born, not made. Discovering real fascism in my early thirties was like looking into a mirror and finally realizing why commies have called me a fascist for so long. They spotted it before I could, but then I wholeheartedly embraced it.”

Please tell me YouTube is removing his videos and demonizing him? So YouTube only pulled his channel After Guardian reach out. So basically they were okay with this until they were called out.
Not only is moderation expensive, but the current administration has attacked organizations that try to moderate anyone who catches the fancy of the MAGAverse. Slash moderation departments and reduce the risk of expensive lawsuits and harassment with the power of the federal government behind it, win-win.
