May I also suggest, even easier than saltines, a nice tall, refreshing glass of water? The perfect meal replacement for those times when you’re too busy (or poor) to eat!

Ok, you have to try them with President brand butter. It’s a cultured butter from France. It’s the most buttery tasting butter my tastebuds have ever tasted. It’s all I buy now.

I’ve seen it at Publix and Walmart. If you can find it give it a try. It’s better than Kerrygold.

I like how you threw this out there expecting all of us to be butter connoisseurs.

Hey. People that know butter know kerrygold. Stating that it’s better than kerrygold is a bold claim.

              You’re now a proto-butter-connoisseur

It may be a few days, it may be a few weeks, but you’re going to be walking past the dairy section in the supermarket and the golden oblong that is Kerrygold is going to call out to you.

That said, if you can get lurpak over there, I think I prefer it to Kerrygold personally

My Grandma taught me to butter the saltines when we have Chili and to scoop a little chili on the butter saltine. I might need to make some chili tonight now haha

I know I sound disgusting, but sometimes I eat saltines and straight up dip them in/scoop up butter like it’s a dip. It’s good.

I used to do this, but between a pair of saltines and with margarine rather than butter.

I never claimed to be healthy.

I can just sit and eat a whole box of Triscuits if I’m not stopped, so I never buy Triscuits in any of their wonderfully delicious flavors.

My cats will try and murder me for these, they give no shits about any other crackers or human non-meat food, but I’ve had one literally try and eat one out of my mouth. Makes me question what’s really in them….

A lot of animals are hyper attracted to salt, that could be it. I know a deer will lick your dried piss off a rock for some salt from my days camping.

My dad used to melt cheese and put salami on these and we would dip it in marinara. He called it poor mans pizza.

Club crackers over Ritz for sliced cheese, IMO.

But honestly, saltines with cheese are amazing. Especially if you have some milk.
