        oh okay I understand. here I was thinking I was crazy for thinking it ran better or similar to KDE plasma lol it makes sense that it’d be slower than pure terminal.

      It depends. Is the sky blue or the sun bright ? There is not straight answer to these questions neither. Everything is relative.

      LFS is actually less heat per hour than Gentoo because the machine idles between builds while you look up and type in the next command.
