No, the MSM media is dying & are just mad that they don’t have the authoritarian control.

Navy drools and says OKAY DADDY because they value career over constitution.

Oh well, right? So much for those oaths they swore.

I’m not sure about this. I don’t think the oath is just words among the higher ranks. I don’t think they’re just going to fall in line when push comes to shove. Our militaries are not ICE thugs.

Yes exactly. The article doesn’t say anything about the Navy lapping up Trump’s word slop. More than that, there is every indication elsewhere that the military is utterly unimpressed or outright insulted by the administration’s attempts to whip them into War Boys.

That approach “we’re cooked because everyone in the military is bloodthirsty and opportunistic” is just… wild.

I’m guessing such comments are from people who didn’t serve or have been around anyone that has. The higher the rank, the less bullshit they will entertain. Hell, even our guys on the street are hating their civil deployments.

We can only hope it is, because the new electors date is getting closer and I’m really afraid of what is going to happen.

Navies are often the first ones to mutiny against their errant governments as they already have a high degree of autonomy within their fleet and ship command, and they often have the most powerful seige firepower.

Oh come on. After how bad the generals meeting looked they made a point to identify a dozen or two sycophants to stand behind him and packed any crowd around with maga types for clapping. They did not want another parade situation.

Not everyone is motivated by personal advancement. Many have moral and ethical standards that they are willing to follow.

Really? As a non-American, it doesn’t look like that. Always wondered about the Germans that ‘helped’ the Nazis even when they knew what they were doing wasn’t right but watching it in real time in America now is maddening. I don’t know that I have the confidence that the Airforce/Navy/Army will be any better at resisting than the DOJ/Supreme Court/ICE/National Guard have been.

It turns out that although many of the grunts are easily swayed by propaganda, the leadership, all with graduate degrees, tends to be more strictly moral.
