Well that was stupid. I’m leaning hard into self-acceptance. You’re uncomfortable with my existence? That sounds like a ‘you problem’. In fact, I intend to make that problem bigger.

As an aside and since I’ll never get to talk about this in context again, every time I play through Chrono Trigger I am exactly the asshole who names Marle as Nadia, Frog as Glenn, Robo as R-66Y, and Magus as Janus. Because being a time traveler, I already know.
It is kind of weird that so many of the main cast canonically go by pseudonyms in the story. Kind of a four nickels situation, I guess.
Naming Robo R66-Y was funny though for the scene.
“R66-Y? That’s no good for a name! How about… R66-Y!”
It’s worth it to name Barrett “T” in the original PSX translation of Final Fantasy 7 as well, only for the singular scene in which this makes him refer to himself as “Mr. T.”
“Gun4anArm” also fits, incidentally.

this is exactly why I converted to Gnosticism. Mainstream Christianity never sat well with me, atheists are pretentiously #intellectual, and agnosticism just wasn’t loud enough. Now I’m following in the footsteps of Jesus by vibing with the homeless dudes at the bus stop, whipping out a tarot deck when I need to be alone with my feelings, and drawing weird sacred geometry that makes people uncomfortable even though it’s shit they learned in middle school. 10/10 highly recommend.
