Putting troops in Cuba seems short sighted on the part of China. Wouldn’t that give us a viable excuse to increase the troop presence on Taiwan?
It’s uncomfortable having forces of a major rival power pushing right up against you and your borders with threatening military might, isn’t it?
Of course it’s China’s fault there, aggressively building their country so close to those US bases. And now maybe, possibly, aggressively building a training base near the US proper. Tsk tsk.
