President Biden’s reelection campaign on Friday launched an ad to bash Republican presidential candidates over their support for a national abortion ban, targeting women in battleground states.

The one-minute ad, entitled “These Guys,” will run for two weeks digitally through YouTube and Connected TV. The campaign’s first post-debate ad is part of a 16-week, $25 million advertising campaign. It will run in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

President Biden’s reelection campaign on Friday launched an ad to bash Republican presidential candidates over their support for a national abortion ban, targeting women in battleground states.

The one-minute ad, entitled “These Guys,” will run for two weeks digitally through YouTube and Connected TV.

It includes a clip from former President Trump bragging about being behind the end of Roe v. Wade, highlights that Florida Gov.

The ad touts that Biden and Vice President Harris are determined to restore Roe v. Wade and wouldn’t allow a national abortion ban to be signed into law.

“As long as they are in office, decisions about your body will be made by you, not by them,” the ad reads, showing Trump at the end.

“On Wednesday, MAGA Republicans came to the debate stage and boasted about their support to strip women of the right to make their own health care decisions,” campaign manager Julie Chávez Rodríguez said in a Friday statement.

I’ve been around from before Roe v Wade to post- Roe v Wade, and voted blue in every election, up and down the ticket. I hate to bitch, but in my lifetime Democrats have often run on “Republicans will kill abortion rights,” but have never acted to permanently secure them, even on the few occasions we’ve had the necessary majorities. My uterus is too old for this shit. It’s not that I won’t continue to vote for Biden and other Democrats, for my daughters and all the other daughters, but I feel like our politicians have held our bodily autonomy in abeyance in order to keep using the threats against it to garner our votes.

Edit: full disclosure, I don’t hate to bitch, it’s cathartic.

State rights until this states don’t do what religious nut jobs want. Then it’s a national issue.

Good! But also highlight what Biden has done over his presidency. A lot of it has gone under the radar.
