    Not that far. I’ve heard of pants that have seats built in. I don’t think it was ever sold, just a prototype someone made. Basically the back of the pants is firm and there’s a way to lock it into place to make a seat. I can’t imagine it would hold a lot of weight though.

    You can get expandable seats on Amazon (and the like) for around $30. They’re like the size of a Frisbee but they extend out to a seat that supports something like 350-400 pounds (or whatever that is in metric). You could probably fashion a strap and strap it to your back, so it would be easy to take down and deploy if you have to wait in line or something.

      I got one of those. It’s heavy-duty plastic and mine has a strap attached to throw over your shoulder. It’s pretty nice if you got somewhere with not a lot of seating.

      I’ve seen people with cushions that they’ve bought for them.

    Depending on your definition of a couch, which I think is already a bit loose, they already exist.

    • Bike shorts, built in cushions, no structure though
    • Avalanche airbags, deployable cushions, built into a backpack, kinda like an inflatable couch? Not in pants though.
