So Wash will be alive? This was Joss Whedon’s greatest sin until, well, everything else.

    RIP Ron Glass

I mean, narratively, killing Wash was an incredible decision. It changes the entire tone of the final act, because now it really feels like anyone could die. When the rest of the characters start racking up injuries there’s a genuine tension. You start to wonder if maybe this is gonna be one of those “Heroes go out in a blaze of glory” endings.

Whedon is a cunt, but that was some excellent writing.

I’m guessing Alan’s role will be voicing other characters, as he’s a fairly well renowned voice actor.

My understanding is that they’re going treat the show and movie as canon, but I have no idea if they’ll do that to the comics.

there’s an interview with Tudyk about doing the voice of Hei Hei, the chicken in Moana, where he does a take to the camera and does a deadpan “I went to Juliard” and that has always stuck with me as a super funny line

Husband-and-wife duo Marc Guggenheim (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) and Tara Butters (Marvel’s Agent Carter) will serve as showrunners

Firefly creator Joss Whedon, whose career has been dormant for years following accusations of workplace toxicity, is not involved in the animated project

How were Legends Of Tomorrow and Agent Carter?

It’s been a decade since I’ve seen either. Legends of tomorrow is classic CW superhero slop with B list character that first appeared in other shows like Arrow and The Flash. I remember liking agent Carter but I remember next to nothing about it other than it being a period piece marvel spy thriller.

Agent Carter started well enough and the premise was fine at first but IIRC the writing in the second season kind of went off the rails. I was hoping for “origin of SHIELD” and we got some romp in Hollywood or something? Kind of forgettable.

Maybe I am remembering wrong but that would probably prove my point more…

Edit: meant to reply directly to OP but I guess it works here because I agree with the above assesment too lol

There was a comic series too, right? Or was that Fan-fic?
