      There are lots of valid healthy relationships that don’t involve someone glomping onto their partner the moment they notice they’re anxious and continuing the physical affection until morale improves.

        Hm but helping your partner out when they have an emotional crisis is in my opinion something to do in a healthy relationship. How this help looks is not defined in the post just that it’s there

          The post defines it as “petplay”. I don’t know if you’re familiar, but pets don’t speak. A good little girl doesn’t help you file your taxes, she sits in your lap purring quietly, proud that you’re putting the work in despite your anxiety and accepting headpats.

            That very much depends on the dynamic. For one most tamer/pet couples are not 24/7 so there is off time between the petplay so your pet totally can do your taxes in the off time or have other emotional support qualities. Even without active petplay you could call your submissive by a name like support pet lovingly. Don’t let ppl poison your head that it has to be all dommy all the time it can be very much ice cream headpats time to for both
