No, Im not. I never was. I see that we dont do enough.

First example - trains. Why we allow to donate small airports and buget airlines, and its so hard to have cheap trains, easily booked night trains?

I can buy airplane ticket from Warsaw do Eindhoven for less than train Eindhoven -> Ams.

The same about sleeping trains, impossible to book, more expensive than airplane…

If you don’t deny climate change, why make a sarcastic comment about changing the weather?

I’m not the one who posted that comment but I understand it as making fun of the government for trying to regulate an inanimate phenomenon.

“EU regulators pass legislation requiring nights to not be so dark”

I understand what it’s supposed to mean lol, but the point is that this is not the same thing as trying to change the darkness of the night (although that is very easy to achieve on the ground with lighting).

The probability, duration and severity of the heat waves we are having and will have in the future are caused by global warming / climate change. The old straw man argument by climate change deniers is that it’s just weather and that heat waves have always occurred, to which of course the answer is: yes, we know, but not this often or severe. That’s a result of climate change, as proven by science many times over.

So while this person apparently isn’t a climate change denier, it’s still a climate change denial talking point.

Not everyone who criticizes EU is climate denier.

As I said, I think we dont do enough.

You want another example? Portable AC. They should have, two pipes to prevent negative pressure inside room. Why eu didn’t regulate this?

                  Trains - as I said.

Truck ev chargers - we have in Poland only 2, where you can park with trailer.

“after a 44⁰C+ heat wave, EU regulators just passed a new law setting the maximum temperature in Europe to 32⁰C”

“It’s just way too hot” says brainlét McDumbass, “we had to set the max to something reasonable. 32⁰C is hot enough in most of Europe.”

The new regulations impose up to a $1000 fine, or 3 weeks in prison to be served by God himself for each instance of it being too damn hot.

Despite having nearly half a century to decarbonize, the EU has delayed it so far because the line would not have gone up as much.

“If we had switched to renewables or nuclear where would we be now? Sure, we wouldn’t be cooking alive in our well insulated brick homes with no AC, but we would also be slightly less rich, which means slightly more poor!” Said McDumbass

So they all go there in (semi-)privat jets? Sounds like a great idea.

    Bring the heat.

Edit: An idiom that means to produce an exceptional effort, not that I want more heat you silly boos.
