Rob Pownall revealed to Metro last week he was planning to stand in the vote in an effort to draw attention to the plight of British wildlife and Farage’s support for fox hunting.

Oh, I genuinely thought this was going to be a furry thing.

Every furry event I’ve ever been to is a non-profit event with the proceeds going to an animal or human rights organization, usually with a fundraiser auction at the end.

        Oh, that’s really sweet!

(To be clear: I’m not casting shade on furries with my comment, nor implying that there isn’t an overlap between furry subculture and animal rights. I’m just saying that I was expecting the story here to be someone fursuitting on main and was surprised that it wasn’t.)

If anyone that can vote in the Clacton election is reading this I have a request.

Please do the funny thing, I need this, keeping up with the news is so dark and this would make so many of us so very happy for Count Bin face to hold a victory press conference.

I genuinely think that Binface would be a better MP than Farage. That’s a low bar actually — perhaps it would be better to say that I think he’d actually be a better than average MP. Some people have gotten all pissy about Count Binface, saying that he is making a mockery of British elections, but the reason why it’s effective satire is because British politics is already a shit show; I’d argue that someone putting so much effort into trying to highlight this is someone who is actually taking the whole thing pretty seriously, and that Count Binface probably respects the system and the voters way more than Farage and his ilk

I’m not from there, but I looked it up and we do actually know who Count Binface is under the mask; he’s a comedian named Jonathan David Harvey. He seems better than Nigel, anyway.

I hope that count binface runs on a policy of requiring candidates that resign and then run again as being responsible for the election cost.

And, of course, that investigations of impropriety don’t pause when there is a reeelection. Rather they become more transparent, releasing all available information that is pertinent.
