    Gonna watch this at lunch!

    Edit: yet more setup, a little violence, some new characters.

    I’m getting real tired of the laziness of showing how “good” an anime character is by having them buy a slave and then treat the slave well. If slavery is “bad” in your view - as evinced by the fact that the MC finds it distasteful, criticizes the system, and can be portrayed as “good” for not treating their slaves as bad as everyone else - then don’t have the MC use that system for monetary gain!

    I was down on this show after ep 1, up after eps 2 and 3, and now I’m finding my opinion drifting back down.
