⛵ Meanwhile the rich take advantage of the rising water levels, MOVING onto superyachts & forever cruiseships (for one last journey).
⛽ Burning through a cool $1 million of diesel per refueling.
Once people is all in, monthly price will skyrocket… It’s always the same.
As a startup it’s nice, then scales and has to become profitable.
Hopefully in the process will destroy any retirement alternative by price dumping.
the people who do this remind of me of multiple scifi stories & tv shows where characters do something like this; especially doctor who.
it’s fitting that most of them are dystopic in tone because it matches our reality.
The Masque of the Red Death seems appropriate given how often sickness runs rampant on the closed society of a cruise ship.
