Exactly. It’s not 1B users, it’s 1B installs, and when it comes pre-installed or downloads itself then that number is completely meaningless.
The story says active users.
Not for investors that only look at absolute numbers.
I read that one company (forget which) is 70% of all purchases.

They killed assistant and claimed the unwilling transfer as growth. Shitty journalism or a shitty headline? Either way bad …
Because they effectively forced everyone to use it by getting rid of the only decent voice assistant.
