If you aren’t already doing it, I’d recommend that you turn on the setting to block screenshots and only turn it off when you’re intentionally taking one.

This meme will gain sudden popularity in the year 3846 and 3847, then be altered for every concurrent year thereafter.

I think about that sometimes, I’m already cringing at new slang like “X is giving me Y” replacing “X is giving me Y vibes” since I’m old and keep wondering “X is giving you Y what?”

I’ve been deleting a lot of the old time-specific ones too in my photo library here and there - I imagine those like the Boat-Stuck-in-Canal or OceanGate memes - assuming the internet kinda survives - will be thought of like that Mesopotamia joke(?) that has lost its context except by super history buffs.

They’ll outlive humanity for sure. You think the robots that some day exterminate us aren’t going to be into memes? They have no flesh, no emotions, no hormones, no guts. They’ll be all about the memes, it’s all they got.

By that year, they may transcend video memes and even vr memes, instead transmitting an amusing concoction of brain signals and chemicals directly between brains. Or maybe they’ll all just be on drugs out of their minds 24-7, who knows?
