The conservatives don’t make shit. When they get elected, they only kick over things everyone else has made, then complain that “government doesn’t work”.
That process is how they indoctrinate their voters. Trumpism writ large is how the billionaires will eventually indoctrinate everyone to lose faith in government more broadly.
Trust in government started to take a huge downturn in the 60s. I mean, there were definitely good reasons for that, I suppose. It’s down to 17%, contrasted with 77% in 1964.
