    I swear I recall this ad. Had a Gameboy, had Nintendo and Sega main systems for the era always wanted the colour screen portable back then. Though friends had a Sega portable with colour screen, ate up batteries like me … eating at that period, was a larger boy heh guess still am but better now for control.

    But still used to love reading gamepro magazines and seeing what was available in the before time of Internet. Was always curious of the Atarii Jaguar at the time, ended up with a 3D0 due to it being available in our tiny town. It had fun games and I’d be just as curious of it too if I didn’t get one so guess it all worked out.

      The screen isn’t small, the Lynx was just massive. Here’s one compared to a Gameboy Pocket. On the plus side, you could us it to defend yourself from attackers.

      Kinda had to be at the time. That screen was a little wider than an original Gameboy, IIRC, and they were running the Lynx on AA batteries. That particular handheld is why rechargeable batteries were invented, AFAICT. The Lynx just chewed through batteries like they were candy.
