    Last I heard, the answer is no, with the reason being that Google started getting really flaky about whether or not they were cool with developers offering multiple versions of their apps.

    Sync for Reddit got away with it because it was originally made before there was ever an option for in-app purchases in the first place. But now I think the dev is looking to avoid running afoul of Google’s really nebulous policies and is sticking with the one app which has had support for IAPs from the beginning now.

    I wished it did, since you can’t share the ad-free version with family members since it’s an in-app purchase and Google hasn’t caught up to Apple on that front…

    Apps that offer auto-renewable subscriptions or non-consumable in-app purchases can enable Family Sharing in App Store Connect to let people share access with up to five family members.

    I for one have no interest in a stand alone app. It’s annoying enough as it is with my calendar app.
