it should really be noted that this is a satellite town of Ahmedabad, not a standalone city.
If this were a standalone city it would be a very very funny metro line and 2km distance would be a hell of a way to walk only to ride 5 stops before reaching the end of the line…But thankfully the metro does in fact continue into the much much larger city and connects to a heavy rail station and another metro station which takes you to the central train station which is getting high speed trains in the future.
