As you may have seen, our Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, Abdul, said that I was no longer welcome in his campaign, and that I should stay away. And he’s right. And that’s why I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today

So her official reasoning is effectively “my ego was hurt so I’m with the fascists now”? Insane.

Did he really say she wasn’t welcome? Or did he just refuse to give into her ultimatum to apologize for remarks about Israel? I guess for the “vote blue no matter who” crowd the blue is the Israeli flag.

She’s not coming completely out of left field, but it was much less “you’re not welcome here” and much more “if you’re only interested in relitigating the primary and sabotaging my campaign, I’d prefer that you didn’t.”

Chief of Staff has now quit along with her communications manager and most of her other staff.

    https://www.mediaite.com/media/news/haley-stevens-staffers-quit-en-masse-after-her-stunning-flip-on-abdul-el-sayed-we-are-shocked-and-heartbroken/

“As Haley Stevens’s chief of staff for eight years, I speak on behalf of our team in wholeheartedly supporting Abdul El-Sayed for Senate. This election is too important to sow divisions or stand on the sidelines. We are shocked and heartbroken by Congresswoman Stevens’s decision to support Mike Rogers. Those of us who are Michigan voters are supporting Democrats up and down the ballot, have been working all season long to elect strong Democratic majorities to the House and Senate, and we will continue to do so. As of this morning, many members of our team have resigned, including myself. We encourage everyone to exercise their civic duty, vote for Democrats up and down the ballot and stand up for the America we all believe in.”

So centrist Democrats social media, what do you have to say about this now?

ETA: Hilarious. Seeing downvotes and only a single response. Where my vocal centrists that tell me vote blue no matter who and that ridicule the comment that centrists are Republican-lite all the time at?
