It’s like that with any game for me. I don’t do that much gaming overall but roughly once every couple of months I’ll get lost in Terraria, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Prison Architect, No Mans Sky or what not for a few days at a time and when that phase ends I won’t play any games for months to come.
third option: spend all your time making datapacks, such that the only time you are ever even in the goddam game is for debugging :(
How else can you check how effective your secret bases and booby traps are?
Why is this so relatable for me lol
this but replace it with sims 2
Ok that’s it, I’m installing Sims 2
it’s a pain to get working but very much worth it.
Wow OP, that’s super rude of you to call me out like that. /lh /npa
mf got tha commands in they comment
Factorio as well. Say good bye 72 hours straight. About once or twice a year.
expand factory, iron plat
@atocci I’m in this photo and I don’t like it
@TerrorBite @atocci we had this our entire life! but not with Minecraft specifically. With /every/ game.
I particularly remember it with LittleBigPlanet. We’d spend a few months furiously making weird shit, then completely dropping the game for a few months, then coming back to it later.
@TerrorBite @atocci I bet it’s an ADH"D" thing.
@frost @TerrorBite @atocci i can confirm this is an ADHD thing
@gray @TerrorBite @atocci we STILL do it! our current Elite obsession? yeah we’re probably gonna randomly drop the game in a month or two
(just tagging @196 so the comments federate properly)
Me too, me too… It’s that time of year right now.
This is why I can’t play games that are too interesting anymore.
