Despite warnings from New York Judge Arthur Engoron to not attack court officials, Donald Trump went on an extended rant near midnight on Sunday, lashing out at the judge who has already fined him $5000, in addition to once again attacking New York Attorney General Letitia James. In a post that compl…

We WON on Statute of Limitations …

So … the only way you could be excused of certain crimes is because you got away with them for too long?

    “NO VICTIMS, EXCEPT ME”

Oh, and the banks you defrauded. And the local governments you cheated out of taxes. And all the other citizens who paid more in taxes to make up for what you cheated on… “NO VICTIMS”.

Also local governments - taxpayers - who had to foot the bill for security for his fascist rallies. Not to mention Covid and his incitement of hate crimes.

His gag order in that case applies to court staff - so neither the judge nor the prosecutor. There won’t be any punishment, as he violated no law.

Justice Engoron is “court staff.” He did violate Engoron’s order. The rest of your comment is absolutely true.

Not just America, his madness has crossed over to Europe and is still making life harder for everyone that’s not white.

Can’t wait to read his obituary one day.

It’s his fault Covid blew up into a pandemic, and that his own country was completely ill-equipped to help fight it.

We knew this was going to happen. This ass clown can’t keep his mouth shut to save his life. All he ever does online is bitch and moan. I doubt he’ll end up seeing the inside of a jail cell like he deserves to, but I hope the fines keep racking on up. I will laugh my ass off if they get away with sticking him with house arrest and slapping an ankle bracelet on him.

Trump refers to the AG as “A.G., Letitia ‘Peekaboo’ James”

What is he saying? Is that supposed to mean something?

Is he trying to get thrown in prison so he can blame Democrats for his inevitable loss?

He’s trying to bash against his cage. Egoist like Trump do not like to be under anyone or be told to do anything.

I wish I could say it is like 4d chess or something, but no. There is nothing good that will come from him in prison.

He won’t be able to talk to anyone. Speak to anyone. Travel. Golf. Fly in expensive jets. Share classified documents. Sex. Everything he does from breathing to pissing will be monitored 24/7.

Worse, it gets the US government in the habit of imprisoning someone like Mr. Trump.

Maybe he’ll get a martyr complex, but even then, all that does is put him in an disadvantageous position to get his branding of message across, or to spin the narrative. He’d have to rely on his followers… which is starting to become more slim fan-club by the day.

My apologies, I am attempting to make a point of reference in relation to Donald Trump “point of view”.

But, in hindsight, I can see how that might be out of context :|

Bad news, being jailed doesn’t make running for office impossible. Of all people he’d be able to turn it into an election positive for his followers.

Well he’d be hindered in campaigning, raising funds, giving speeches and interviews, and making back-room deals. I can’t imagine that would help his chances. Knowing Trump it would give him someone else to blame, as he seems incapable of accepting responsibility for anything.

Perhaps some of that. Let’s do an experiment and put him in prison to find out what changes.

My bad, it is hard to guess the tone from the text. I am still upset that if I just did fraction of what he did I would be in jail for a long time and he looks like he might still walk away from it somehow.

It looks like he is mostly worried about the civil case in NY where he might lose money than the criminal cases.

The judge is a member of court staff, though. The article is pretty clear that his attacks on AG James are “in addition to” attacking the judge, who is definitely considered court staff.
