Looking for a vertical mouse:

  • Good for work, don’t care about gaming

  • Ergonomic

  • Wireless

  • Rechargeable, if possible

  • < 200 euros

  • Available in EU

Thanks in advance!

Logitech MX Vertical is probably your best bet. It’s currently $99 USD and I believe ships everywhere; I definitely saw it on the Irish Logi site.

The lift is the cheaper variant. Anything Logitech MX line is typically flagship

The Lift is a different model; probably just as good though.

The Lift is slightly smaller. So depending on the size of your hands, one may fit better than the other. The Lift also has a quieter, less crisp-feeling, click. To me that makes it feel like a cheap mouse, but others may like that quality.

I’ve been daily driving the MX Vertical for a year now, and it’s served me extremely well. Maybe not as “solid” feeling as the MX Master series, but it’s extremely comfortable!

Another vote for Logitech MX Vertical. Good price, VERY long charge (usually 2 weeks or more for me), and most importantly, very very comfortable for long daily use. I own 2.

    I use two,

    • Delux M618XSD Seeker
It costs more but I like the additional thumb scroll and feels less bulky in hand
    • Delux M618PD
Cheaper and rather thicker. Maybe that’s more ergonomic but I can’t tell

I didn’t think that I’d like it but palm rest is really good when using vertical mouse. Otherwise you might end up fighting with the friction of your palm against the desk.

While you don’t care about gaming, I think having DPI switcher is a good thing. You will probably be using a different DPI than with flat mouse.

Thanks a bunch for your suggestions. I have to say, the palm rest is intriguing…

In general, I guess, the options that cost more than delux should have these too.

I’m not sure from your post of your are getting into vertical mouse or just looking around what to buy. If you want to get some idea how it will feel like, take an empty glass, wrap your hand around and try moving as if it was a mouse. The real thing will be thinner but the position will be somewhat similar. That way you can see if you might need the palm rest or not.
I’ve found that for me the elbow rest of the chair is important, so my elbow is the pivot point, not the wrist. But you might be more of an arm-mover than elbow-twister ;)

Logitech Vertical seems way overpriced, I used to have a Delux M618 DB (there are different versions so make sure it’s the wireless and rechargeable one).

I switched to a trackball, not going back ;)
