It’s a floating dock… It’s pretty literally meant to do what it is doing. The scissor lift is a bold move but it’s probably actually fairly stable.
My biggest concern would actually be water getting into the batteries. Chlorinated water is conductive. the other concern is tipping, of course, with as high as it is, you start swaying you might tip over.
I’d probably have gone with a fall harness tied off up above, just in case…But hey, i fit works, it works.
As long as you do the displacement math and stable surface area math it should be fine, looks shady as shit but probably fine. Offset super cranes operate on barges and always look a bit insane so it’s probably fine.
That’s just a boat with extra steps.
