    Personally I like the reusable dishwashable microwavable recyclable black plastic boxes with the clear lids. And the deli containers: three sizes, one lid size fits all. I’ve been using some of the same ones for 3 years. When they finally fall apart they go in the recycling bin. They also take much better care of your food in the first place!

      Always has been. “Styrofoam” is actually polystyrene (#6, PS plastic) in foam form. It’s also turned into solid objects and is transparent. Typical examples include plastic utensils, CD case covers, and some food containers. If it’s transparent, flimsy, and cracks really easily, it’s probably polystyrene.
