Listened to this again and, wow, it blew me away. I don’t think I’ve listened to any other album as much as this, and I probably never wil. One of the best of all time.
For those curious, this is the album “In the Aeroplane Over the Sea” by Neutral Milk Hotel. It is a fantastic listen if you feel the vibe.

Yeah this is a great album. Also, don’t sleep on the other Elephant 6 stuff like The Olivia Tremor Control, The Apples in Stereo and Beulah.
It’s definitely a fantastic album, one I’ve listened to many times! I’d also recommend the song Little Birds to anyone who hasn’t heard it. Heavy subject matter, but a beautiful song.
Oh Comely is easily one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. I was so glad to see them put more material on streaming platforms earlier this year, Ferris Wheel on Fire is amazing
Listened to that for the first time a few months ago! Oh Sister is a top 5 NMH song, and My Dream Girl Don’t Exist is so underrated
