    Also, the article said something about a “Peaky Blinders franchise”? Can’t a show just stand on its own any more? It was fine, good even. Leave it alone man

    Same universe could work, not sure about attempting to reboot Fox & Scully.

    MMW: It’ll get one, maybe two, lukewarm seasons and then get shelved again as the second X-Files reboot to fail in ten years. As much as I love the original run, it’s not like it was groundbreaking in premise or execution even in the 90s. Nowadays the entertainment comes from like 30% nostalgia and 70% the unreplicable chemistry between Mulder and Scully. Even the 2010s reboot, which had everything going for it, failed to capture that feeling.

      X files fight the future is still one of my favorite sci Fi movies, but everything else after that was just bad
