    Not sure if it’s done somewhere else, but in Brazil after the first person write the happy birthday message the rest of the group chat just copy paste the original message and send it. So the first person try to write a personalized message trying to make the copy pasting funnier.

        Not quite the same (but still in Brazil) but in my friends group chat they would post something like this (but in Portuguese ofc)

        “Hey everyone, I wanted to wish you all a really nice Christmas. It has been a wonderful year and I’m really glad to have joined this swimming team. I hope we can win next year’s championship!”

        And none of us is in any team, the idea is to make it very obvious that the person just copypasted that from another group. Then we all just copy it too and post it right after
