isnt my brother’s wife’s mother my mother-in-law?
i can still remember the end of february, 2021. wife and i were doing our own things; i turned to her and mentioned that i hadnt heard anything government related for about a month.
we both were pleasantly surprised about how much we missed it being super boring with no daily scandal/law being broken.
it will be nice to notice that feeling again in ~feb 2029. i am looking forward to it.

charlotte, maybe?

ooooo thank you! if my situation gets worse i’ll definitely look into foot straps.
i can currently rest my foot on the pedal and move my leg around a bit, so i am able to use pedal assist without any type of lock (i just cant push or pull on the pedal, heh. extra pressure on my foot activates a bunch of pain)

i didnt even think of scooters - thank you for the recommendation!
i have gotten so much info from this thread, thank you, and everyone else, for recommendations here; it has given me way more options and research to do.
i didnt realize sidecars had a big learning curve. as someone who has never driven a moto, this option may be a dead end for me - thank you for this info. a sidecar was my first thought (probably due to all of the ww2 documentaries i watch, lol), but probably isnt the right way to go.
i think i am all set on the e-bicycle front (~20mi total range), but will keep an e-cargobike in mind if i need more carrying capacity. this is another trike recommendation. i didnt know something like this existed before this post - i definitely have more research to do.
thank you!
“we havent tried anything and we’re all out of ideas” :p

the best kind of art is art you interact with. if this art is for the public, then allow the public to have it.

privacywalled. whats the scoop?

wow, i hadnt heard of HD livewire cycles, thank you! i dont really identify as a car/moto person; i dont really worry about branding that way, so no need to worry about becoming a harley davidson person, hehehehe.
$10k with 86 miles of range - 86 miles is close enough for that low price (~20mi was just too little for a few things and i needed to get into a different range class)
i didnt realize side cars were a custom thing - no wonder it has been so difficult finding them. thank you for that info!
i didnt know Zero (one of the few e-moto’s i had heard about) did subscription/pay2play things; thank you for the warning <3

its all good <3
i have a chevy bolt, but cant drive it safely. i bought it in jan 2023 and my leg got busted shortly after. its almost 3 years old with ~4,000 miles on it, heh… now it just sits in my garage with a monthly payment :/
Stoat will never win unless the animal kingdom gets ranked choice voting!
(ty, cgp grey, for making the best videos on this)

i currently use immich, and it is phenomenal. immich is self-hosted, though, so you will need to host it somewhere.
i like it more than google photos because of its search features. ai/ml (local) learning of your photos so you can search for generic stuff and get pictures for it - it has been super helpful for sharing pictures with others, and i can generate single-use or limited-permission links to the photos just like a pro service. after importing a whole bunch of photos and letting the ai/ml run, make sure to name the people it pulls from your photos for easy searches for them : D
i havent had the chance to try stoat yet because most of my friends refuse to leave discord, but i heard of Stoat (used to he called Revolt, but i think there was a trademark conflict) a while back and have wanted to try it out.

my electric bicycle has specs very close to this. not sure on the usability here.

may the toe crushing of bystanders begin

i add water in this case; however, if water will make it a but too thin then you can add a water+corn starch mix to keep it thick.
edit: tbh, usually my “water” is water will some chicken or beef bouillon in there
that is great! terminal use is not for everyone, so i only recommend using it if people feel comfortable with it or think it can save them time (and during troubleshooting, but im usually helping at that point).
my wife diesnt like using the terminal and has successfully gone without using it (minus me setting things up for her in the first few months), and that has given me a lot mire confidence in recommending linux to those that just want to use a computer and want it to “just work”
i was going to go with '06, but it looks like '04 was revolutionary for many game genres, and considered a major milestone in video game history due to its lasting affect on future titles.
they get kubuntu or fedora with ~3 months of support from me. it can sometimes take 6 months if the person doesnt really use their computer often, tho.
you will get weirdly excited about a new vacuum you love and tell everyone about its features.
