If persistence and asking over and over again has worked in other situations, and tantrums don’t have a significant negative reinforcement, this sort of behavior seems natural. She probably just has a hard-headed personality. She needs to learn the negatives of throwing tantrums, how it makes you feel and how it will make other people feel, and why it should be important to her that she doesn’t make people feel bad.

What caused the jump?English5·2 years agoSeems like there’s enough content to actually get into the habit of contributing and exploring, but discoverability feels harder. At the same time, so much social media these days is a mainline, drip feed, brain dead thing. Just interacting with YouTube/Instagram/Reddit/Twitter makes my eyes glaze over.
I think just the right amount of friction is probably a really good thing.

Then I saw there were threads with hundreds of responses and thought, “hey, this isn’t actually dead, maybe it could be fun”
