  • good haul 💯 passion fruit look a little under ripe apart from the one on the left. skin should be crinkly and not greenish we have a vine that was proflic last year with over 100 fruits. picked all the windfalls and left a few days to crinkle and they were the sweetest I’ve ever tasted. had some shop bought ones the other day and they were sour and unappetising… good effort on growing own food it’s the best ❤️

funny thing, I took my test in NZ where it’s cheaper and easier apparently, still cost a couple of thousand $NZ but I was given a bunch of forms to fill in… Found a quiet place to do them in time, read them and filled them in. then realised I’d not read them properly and had to request the forms be resent to complete a second time, this time body doubling with the misses to ensure I’d read and completed them appropriately.

felt like it was part of the test

can you read and fill in these forms by yourself? no, no I can’t…

    diagnosed in my 50’s

    always known I’m different lol

coasted subjects I liked but failed subjects I hated.

I was disruptive and constantly outside the headmasters office. in those days I got the slipper and cane…

mum called me hyperactive and blamed tartrazine from orange cordial. looking back I was casebook ADHD.

now I have a diagnosis I’m able to get the support and connections to my kids that I never had myself. teaching techniques and understanding what’s going on for them when they have meltdowns.

to be fair they didn’t have ADHD diagnosis on the 70’s so I’m just happy I can support my kids knowing what I know and why

  • thanks for the long reply. I hope EU actually sends weapons and puts boots on the ground to assist Ukraine. UK has given some cruise missiles and I’m sure other EU countries will do similar. interesting that the EU financial assistance was loans but as you said these can be cancelled easily. I guess loans are easier to sell to you population. I’d also prefer to not have the US involved now the administration has changed, but disentangling so much bureaucracy is difficult and doesn’t happen overnight. I’d suspect Ukraine doesn’t want any deals with the US now but needs to keep playing the game until they don’t need to. Russia wss never going to play the game anyway, never in good faith. The EU really needs to step up… but again this takes time to start building up stockpiles and uniforms… so I can see why the game is being played. I just hope Ukraine wins every hand. thanks 🙏

this was me about 30 years ago on a larp where at midnight we came across a mage in a circle… along with a scarecrow… I smacked the scarecrow with my sword and it screamed and lunged at me… I ran away bravely and as fast as possible straight into a tree, dropped my lantern and carried on screaming into the night. the most scared I’ve been in larp, proper suspension of disbelief. thanks for the memory 😆
