I’m learning that I should use the anagram wheel more often, that tool is quite useful.

Got this one from the definition alone, but it’s a really fun &lit clue.

Kept trying to substitute lead for Pb, “between two” for “II” with letters between them, and I tried to make “found” work as a hidden indicator :/

Pretty much had the wordplay, but I didn’t expect “is” to be part of the fodder.
Not my best performance, had all the letters but couldn’t get the clue.
I accidentally clicked the wrong hint :/

Spent a while trying to make the homophone indicator work, when it was a red herring the entire time.

I didn’t even notice the definition or the indicator, the initials immediately popped out to me.
Definitely tricky. Got unlucky with a letter hint giving me one I already had.

I actually solved it before realizing that “Whispered” and “Yelled” were homophone indicators, but I substituted them correctly. Took me a minute afterwards to realize why they were there.
I’m really liking this week’s clues, simple but varied.
The more you play, the more you get used to the concepts is my experience.
They have some really good tutorial courses to get you started (https://www.minutecryptic.com/course/letterplay). Each daily clue has hints for each part of the puzzle, as well as a video explaining it. It can definitely take a bit to get used to, but maybe that’s because English is my second language.
Surprised that Minute Cryptic isn’t posted here, I recently got into it and it’s really interesting.
I put it in quotes for a reason. It was the recommended instance back when the reddit exodus happened.
What does my account from .world, the “default instance”, say about me, exactly?

I still cannot for the life of me remember that the exclamation point is an indicator for &lit clues
