I tried this on the train while commuting a few times and one time I missed my stop and had to take another train back because I was hyperfocused in the story lol. If I do this I must boost the speed on the audiobook quite a bit so it matches my reading speed, otherwise I get impatient waiting for the audio to catch up. If I listen to only audio I mostly listen to normal speed to not miss stuff though

I think it took 6 months before I made a more permanent setup and didn’t just keep everything on a tray I put on my desk. A year after that maybe I removed the computer screen from the desk to fit racks for 100+ paint bottles… A while after that I upgraded the shelves to be able to display more minis and Warhammer books. I think it’s important to let the spaces you use evolve with how you use them. I use the desk for other things but to have it as a painting station primarily makes me paint more

I run Bazzite on a 3070 and it works well. The thing that is not supported yet is the gaming mode that basically turns your pc into steam deck mode as far as I understand it. It would be cool since I run my pc on TV only and mainly game with a controller. What I do is run Steam on startup and set it to start in big screen mode. Until a few weeks ago I used Linux mint and that was much more work with drivers for controllers and stuff. Bazzite is so good so far, seems to be exaxcly my use case for a TV Linux gaming pc.

I don’t know about electron but I tried Logseq because Obsidians license didn’t work for me. It’s open source and markdown files too

Yes, I feel like this happens when these articles pop up from time to time. Like, it’s a good thing a few companies are trying it out successfully, you don’t have to falsely make it sound like the whole country switched

For many games you can set graphics rendering to for example 1080p but run the whole game in 4k so text, menues and so on are super crisp but the game still runs very light. But maybe it’s good advice to never even start because I can’t imagine going back to 1080p after using 2k and 4k screens

Pihole hasn’t made any difference on devices like smart TVs and consoles for years, at least in my experience. It really sucks but they broke me and I bought premium family because we use YouTube a lot on non pc devices and I hate ads so much

It’s more than 50%. In Sweden it goes from 179 SEK to 279 SEK for family - that’s almost 56% which is an insane price hike. But hey I’m glad it helps YouTube “improve the service”. I would be out if I didn’t want my family to be able to watch without ads on several non Android devices and a smart TV…

Had it once too. It was a long time ago but definitely one of the best cups I’ve had. Can probably be described to taste as regular coffee smells, with very little bitterness. Since then I’ve learned many producers have the animals in cages and don’t treat them well, and there are no good ways to source ethically made Kopi Luwak, so I never really felt the need to buy it again.

After about two or three years since that first I’ve now made my third attempt to get help (Second one said 'you can’t have adhd because you’ve finished university and have a job).

I’ve gotten one step further, but if I am accepted to do a real evaluation it will be more than a years wait time. Public mental healthcare in Sweden is a joke. The wait time alone makes me want to just do it in private care but I can’t justify the expense in my current life situation
