    More power transfer benefits you as it allows for faster charging. That’s why lots of phones can charge faster than iPhones do.

    You don’t do data transfer on your phone often, but better data transfer cables allow for lots of different functionality like using the same cable to charge my phone as I do to connect a monitor to my laptop, and backing up all 100gb of my photos very quickly.

    Everything you’ve said is basically just “I don’t do it now, so why would anyone ever need it?”

    I can imagine you just dislike is because you use iPhone so all the push for USB c annoys you because it’s foreign to you so fair enoughi guess, do consider it allows better connectivity and convinience for everyone and marginally may help the environment.
