My point is that none of us should have to suffer through such revolting indignities in order to have a normal happy life, just for the right to live. And the fact that you even think for a second that I should have to suffer through even a fraction of that in order to escape to a safe place where I might have a hope of even a chance of a safe life is fucking terrifying.
