And Fox will give Trump equal amount during the same time slot, thus completely defeating the entire purpose of a debate.

I think there needs to he three televised debates between presidential candidates, by law. Two for VP. All on PBS, C-SPAN, Twitch, YouTube and whichever network decides to participate.

More information, by law, or you don’t get to play.

yeah, but you completely ignore the fact that Trump won’t agree unless he sets the rules, against Clinton he physically bullier her space by closing the distance and towering over her threateningly ON FUCKING BROADCAST TV IN PRIME TIME, Trump made sure there would be no fact checking against Biden who his team already said couldn’t hold a cogent conversation or reply with any conviction, now he faces a much younger opponent surging in the polls, Trump isn’t going to agree to meet her anywhere but FOX, ever

It doesn’t matter if he gets equal time on fox. The people that will watch that are going to anyway, and the people that won’t, won’t. He doesn’t have anything new to say and no one is wondering what his policies are. The only people that matter are the ones who are on the fence with Harris. And more serious people will watch her on almost anything other than fox. Let him go on fox and reeeeee into that sycophant echo chamber all he wants.

That is literally my point. The reason we want debates rather than “showcases” is so that the public can see candidates debate each other. Harris fans will watch her showcase and Trump fans will watch his with not change (unless you flop like Biden). Undecided voters will likely avoid both because why would you watch an infomercial with uncontested propaganda?
